Appius Wins Sitefinity DX Project of the Month for Healthy Pets Website

Atlanta Group approached Appius with the request to initiate and execute a project to migrate the current Healthy Pets website – from the existing Umbraco platform into the Atlanta Group Sitefinity multi-site instance.

 

The project aimed to migrate the existing site while maintaining the current visual design and functionality as closely as possible using Atlanta Group's standard modules and components. Ensuring the current SEO and Core Web Vitals performance was retained was also a priority, with Atlanta Group confirming these metrics during the Envisioning and Planning phase.

 

The project included an initial site audit to map existing features to their components, identifying any gaps for review and confirmation before finalising technical and project specifications. Additionally, a review of site imagery and sizing was conducted to assess rework requirements, leading to the production of a Technical Specification document for Atlanta Group's Development Team approval.

 

Content migration, handled by the Appius team, was a core aspect of the project, ensuring seamless transfer to the Atlanta Group Sitefinity site. LiveChat was implemented using Atlanta Group's Sabio solution via GTM, and Feefo widgets were replaced with TrustPilot widgets to align with other Atlanta Group sites. The standard Atlanta Group Data-layer and cookie management solutions were also implemented as part of the project scope.

 

By using a single set of components designed and tested to optimise conversion for insurance sites, this reduces developer input to decrease cost and support scalability.  At the same time as this each brand is still able to retain a distinctive look and feel and identity, and development budget can be put into innovative features that are unique to the particular product or service, and shared across the whole estate where relevant.
