AON wanted to take their strong Affinity proposition to market, whilst still catering for their individual corporate customers. At the Group level they wanted an agency that had the technical capability to on-board their bespoke quote and buy engine, to provide ongoing and fully outsourced support.
The relationship started by working closely with the marketing team to deliver consultancy and training on the platform. Following the successful adoption Appius were asked to upgrade the whole solution to Sitecore 9 and complete full user centred redesign projects for the main Aon Insurance website, and one of the standalone affiliate brands Pax Insurance aimed at the Armed Forces.
Appius ran workshops with key stakeholders throughout the business. We developed the first User Profiles which were used to inform the design and UX for improved affinity and general lead generation - this approach was adopted more widely throughout the business.
We replaced a highly manual document management processes linked to an annual renewals, and migrated Maven Public Sector insurance into the new environment. We onboarded the Digital Delivery Framework responsible for delivering quote and buy content onto the front end Sitecore websites providing an ongoing SLA, and working with internal teams to adopt internal processes for security and deployment.
The site was completely rebuilt in a fully componentised structure and we integrated with Aon back office solutions and payment gateway.
