Location: Bournemouth, United Kingdom

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm GMT

Salary: Subject to experience

Role Description:

Appius have a great opportunity for an experienced Sitefinity Developer with proven skills in development on the Sitefinity platform. You will work alongside a Senior Sitefinity Developer experienced in Sitefinity solution architecture and technical architecture; you will design and build solutions focused on working with the Senior Sitefinity Developer and our clients using Sitefinity. You will develop customer portals and integrations with 3rd party solutions, CRM, payment gateway and other RESTful interfaces and bespoke modules, and takeover responsibilities and technical ownership for the Sitefinity client projects.

As a Sitefinity Developer you will be responsible for the development of new and existing client website projects, as well as the ongoing maintenance and support. You will produce technical specifications, plan development releases for your own development work for delivery by you to the Senior Sitefinity Developer and collaborate with internal team and customers across the full project lifecycle.

Core Skills for the Role:

  • 3+ years Sitefinity development experience
  • ASP .NET MVC (C#, Razor)
  • Web Forms (C#)
  • ADO.NET / Entity Frameworks
  • Webservices (WCF, SOAP, RESTful, JSON)

Other Desirable Skills:

  • Proven track record in delivering complex and large-scale integration websites.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Other .NET content management systems knowledge (For example Sitecore, Optimizely, Umbraco are others we work with).
  • MVVM / JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js / Angular / React)
  • Familiar with various architectural and design patterns
  • Good spoken and written English communication
