Position: Digital Marketing & Engagement Manager

Location: Bournemouth

Hours: Mon to Fri 8hrs/day start between 8am and 9am t.b.a.

Salary: Subject to Experience

Role Description:

This role sits within the Appius Experience team and is a combination of digital marketing, engagement marketing, marketing automation, analytics and results analysis, campaign and content co-ordination and Appius Marketing. This role is both a key supporting role for clients and digital marketing, and a lead role for analytics and the use of Appius solutions for innovation and learning in Appius Marketing. The role requires strong focus on analytics configuration and analysis, client and team communication and a passion for getting the best from our chosen digital solutions.



Digital Marketing:

  • Understand website users and competitors to support keyword research for best terms / content
  • Search Engine Optimisation campaigns for clients – planning and implementation
  • Paid search and paid promotional campaigns for clients – planning and implementation
  • Social networking / Online PR based campaigns for clients – planning and implementation
  • Progress company learning and accreditation in this area, including supplier overlap

Engagement Marketing and Marketing Automation:

  • Plan and implement email based marketing automation campaigns
  • Utilise Experience Platform personalisation and engagement marketing features
  • Progress company learning and use of Dotdigital (formally Dotmailer) capabilities
  • Progress company learning and use of Sitecore Marketing Automation and associated Engagement Marketing Features
  • Utilise Hubspot for Appius marketing and any agreed client engagements

Analytics and Results Reporting:

  • Analyse client digital marketing results providing recommendations for improvements
  • Ongoing results and campaign reporting for clients
  • Configure Google Analytics / Tag Manager ecommerce tracking
  • Configure and run company selected reporting tools e.g. SEMRush, social media specific tools
  • Conduct agreed analysis of Appius digital results for continuous improvement and marketing

Client Campaign and Content Coordination:

  • Lead Experience Team campaign and client communication for agreed clients and campaigns
  • Co-ordinate and QA team inputs to campaigns – inside and outside of Experience team
  • Content evaluation and planning with clients including content population where required
  • Setup of Gathercontent and associated client training and support
  • Deliver pre-agreed and planned client training in the use of digital marketing & content tools

Appius Marketing and Sales:

  • Deliver Appius digital marketing campaigns e.g. search engine marketing, Hubspot
  • Co-ordinate Appius team members and any agreed non digital marketing deliverables
  • Organise Appius marketing content for specific and ongoing marketing projects
  • Promote the use of Appius chosen solutions for Appius marketing as a learning and innovation environment
  • Report back to the business on Appius marketing progress and results
  • Support sales opportunities for digital marketing

Advantageous:

  • Copywriting experience / interest
  • Ability to present digital marketing ideas and campaign plans in a sales context
  • 1-2 years digital marketing experience
  • Associated degree or qualifications
  • Advanced Google Tag Manager experience or qualification
  • Basic graphic design / editing skills e.g. for social and blog images
