Description:

Main requirement for this individual is to support the existing Technical Lead at Appius primarily focusing on ASP / ASP.NET development of websites and integration with SQL server. This individual will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of approximately 100 existing websites and be able to proactively support the Technical Lead in developing bespoke websites and solutions - as well as being able to produce core "bread & butter" ASP/ASP.NET websites independently using existing objects and code.

Ideally The ideal candidate will have a related degree and 1 year of industry experience in developing dynamic websites with a good grounding in all associated areas such as server/network maintenance and configuration (Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003), IIS6 & SQL Server 2000 as well as an understanding of DNS, email and associated technologies. Core production skills are also essential including HTML/CSS/Javascript and basic image editing skills.

The right individual must be dynamic, passionate about the industry and eager to learn. A main requirement of this role is for the individual to become Microsoft Certified by the end of 2005 - with a clear career development path to takeover the Technical Lead role within Appius.

• Actionscript / Flash Development skills valuable

• Dreamweaver 8 / MX
• Visual Studio .NET
• Microsoft SQL Server, IIS 5/6, Lyris SQL, etc
• Flash MX/2004
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
• Microsoft Visio
• CMS knowledge - Contribute, Ektron (CMS100-300) etc

Personal Situation:

The ideal candidate will already be based in Bournemouth or will have a very strong reason for already relocating to Bournemouth, such as family living down here.
