eMarketing Executive
Description:
This role requires the candidate to have a good all-round understanding of web design with an eMarketing slant where The ideal candidate is likely to have experience in a new media agency or in an all round web related role within a company where they have had responsibility for traffic building and site promotion. This role will exist within the User Experience team who are responsible for ensuring that all projects are at the highest standard for creative, eMarketing and usability for Appius' clients.
The primary focus for the individual will be the set up, implementation, maintenance and analysis of Search Engine Optimisation, and Pay Per Click services. However it is expected that this role will also allow the individual plenty of opportunity to demonstrate and develop skills within the creative and user experience disciplines therefore a general understanding and desire to work in these areas is required.
Core Skills Required:
- Search Engine Optimisation or 'Natural Search Marketing' skills & management (keyword generation, page optimisation, submissions, reporting and analysis).
- Pay Per Click Management (campaign strategy, keyword research and selection, PPC registration and set up, bid management, reporting and analysis).
- Understanding and appreciation for usability and good user experience practice.
- Ability to design and produce web graphics.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations and enthusiastically run brainstorm sessions.
- Excellent communication and literacy skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Offline marketing experience or qualification.
- Mathematics GSCE grade 'C' or above or equivalent.
Desirable Skills:
- Email Marketing (targeting, creation, deployment, tracking and reporting).
- Analytics (web traffic analysis, conversion rate analysis, Return On Investment tracking).
- Google Adwords Professional accreditation.
- User profiles, user journey and wireframe creation.
- Copywriting skills.
- Creative Design skills.
- Knowledge of digital branding.
Software / Application Knowledge:
- Web Position or equivalent SEO reporting and analysis software.
- Webtrends / Google Analytics or similar traffic analysis tools.
- Dreamweaver 8 / MX or equivalent web editing software an advantage.
- Macromedia Fireworks 8 / MX or similar graphic design package.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc).
- Flash 8 / MX experience would be desirable but not essential.
Personal Situation:
The ideal candidate will already be based in Bournemouth or will have a very strong reason for already relocating to Bournemouth, such as family living down here.
