User testing the way to results for DLR

Appius have completed usability testing sessions with DLR commuters, off peak travellers and tourists. The testing was completed as 1-to1 user interviews in dedicated user testing labs, with the client watching on via cameras and microphones showing user's reactions and on-screen activity.

The project gave DLR an insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the current site, short-term quick wins and medium term changes for ongoing implementation. Users were also asked for their suggestions for the DLR site based on their experience of other travel websites.

These findings have been combined with blue- sky strategy work and cutting edge website analytics to ensure that users are at the heart of the web strategy for the next 3 years.
