  • Daily Mail names TrafficEngland.com website of the week

www.trafficengland.com can help you avoid “nasty snarl-ups”, says Daily Mail

Appius are proud to announce that The Daily Mail has named www.trafficengland.com as its website of the week. The website received a rating of five stars and was strongly recommended to all car users to check the website regularly before planning any journey in England.

The July review commented on user-friendly aspects of the site including handy pop-up boxes and the easy-to-use option boxes to select roads and dates of travel in order to identify any planned roadworks.

The review pointed out the simplicity of navigation when looking at regional traffic information maps, with sections of roads highlighted in yellow and red to show delays. Users can then view maps with signs indicating incidents, roadworks and roadside message boards.

As well as displaying an accurate approximation of delay time (15-30 mins to 30 mins+), the review also stated that crucially “all the data appears to be bang up to date”, via a visible clock showing when the site was last updated.

    Useful: 5/5
    Easy to use: 5/5
    Rating: *****
