Appius builds first-class Ektron website for DLR
Appius was delighted to be awarded ‘Best Public Sector Site, United Kingdom - for Docklands Light Railway website - www.dlrlondon.co.uk’ in October 2010. The British website received glowing feedback from the American awards, highlighting the powerful mix of sales and services features and excellent use of Ektron to provide ease of use for content management.
Ektron All Stars Awards seek to identify the most innovative and effective uses of Ektron’s Web content management (WCM) platform by both customers and partners.
Nominees were judged on the development and design of their site and their ability to use Ektron technology to solve business-critical issues with measurable return on their investment. The website required DLR to have full control of content in the most efficient and user-friendly manner, promoting the use of the transportation service for off-peak, social and community purposes as well as for peak time use.
